Ideal Time for Surfing in Nicaragua

Dry Season (November to April)

Known as the “offshore wind season,” this period offers clean, consistent waves, perfect for beginners and intermediates. Expect smaller to medium swells and warm, sunny weather, making it the ideal time for a relaxed surf trip.

Rainy Season (May to October):

Waves get bigger, peaking between June and August, making it the best time for experienced surfers seeking powerful swells. While rain is common, the surf is less crowded, offering thrilling conditions for those looking for a challenge.
